Dr Adesina Iluyemi is knowledgeable in mHealth, eHealth and Telemedicine innovation and policy and has published in these domains and he is regularly invited to speak at international conferences and meetings. He has advised different national and international multilateral, public, private and voluntary organizations and has provided technical assistance to developing countries on National eHealth Policy & Strategies development. Adesina has made notable contributions to Global mHealth & mHealth. He contributed to the report on mHealth in Developing Countries in 2008 commissioned by the United Nations Foundation and also to the United Nations ESOSOC process on eHealth in Africa in 2009. He recently co-authored a book titled 'Making national eHealth policies and strategies work', published by the Commonwealth Secretariat and a report titled 'mHealth Review: Joining up healthcare in a wireless world'.

He trained as a Dental Surgeon and has a postgraduate diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He has submitted a PhD thesis at the University of Portsmouth on eHealth and a Fellow of Royal Society of Medicine and African Science Institute. He is a Co-Founder and Vice President at MoDiSe, working to bring low-cost mobile clinical diagnostic devices to African and developing countries and was selected a Judge for the GSMA Global Mobile Awards, 2012.
