As Adviser, Dr Koranteng is the principal specialist responsible for Governance and Anti-Corruption at the Commonwealth secretariat and therefore, has responsibility for governance, anti-corruption and oversight institutions in all the 53 commonwealth countries. The Commonwealth Africa Anti-Corruption Centre established in Botswana is the brainchild of Dr Koranteng. He conceived, midwifed and operationalized the Centre as a prime vehicle for coordinating and strengthening the capacity of Anti-Corruption Agencies in Commonwealth Africa.

Dr. Koranteng is actively involved in academic work as he continues to teach, research and supervise graduate research works at various universities around the world. Dr Koranteng is, by invitation, a reviewer for reputable academic journals such as Public Administration and Development (PAD), UK; African Journal of Political Science and International Relations (AJPSIR); and The African Studies Quarterly academic journal devoted to African studies, published by the Centre for African Studies at the University of Florida.

Dr.Koranteng has been a consultant to multi-national and international organisations such as DFID, World Bank, Commonwealth Secretariat, European Union, AAPAM, etc. He has delivered numerous executive seminars and training programmes around the world – across Africa, Caribbean, Asia and pacific regions.

Dr. Roger Koranteng has published extensively on Governance, Anti-Corruption and Public Administration. He specialises in Public Policy, Public Administration, Governance, Anti-corruption, management and leadership.

Dr Koranteng holds a PhD (Public Policy) from University of Birmingham, UK; MA Degree (Public Policy & Administration) from Institute of Social Studies, the Hague, Netherlands; Post-Graduate Diploma in Public Administration, GIMPA, Ghana; Post-Graduate Diploma in Environmental Studies, University of Oslo, Norway; and BA (Hons.) University of Ghana, Legon.
