Ana Pueyo has been working in the fields of energy and climate change policy for over 9 years. Her research interest is in low-carbon development, particularly in innovation, development and transfer of low-carbon technologies in developing countries and in the national and international policies that are necessary to promote these. Ana is trained as an Economist and has completed her PhD in the School of Industrial Engineering at the Technical University of Madrid, focusing on climate change technology transfer to developing countries. She has published her work in the journals Energy Policy and Climate Policy. She also has a solid quantitative background and a long experience advising policymakers in the European Union, UK and Spanish Governments. Ana has also worked extensively as a consultant for the private sector, including the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, private companies in the energy sector, sectoral associations, project developers in the low-carbon business, and airlines. Ana has also advised NGOs, including Greenpeace and WWF.
